Afrikan High Tea is a  joyous sharing of good vibes and insights into the art of Bla(c)k storytelling. Fuelled by powerful performances, authentic heart connection, music, complimentary bottomless cups of herbal tea and a platter of refreshing fresh fruit, this is the perfect way to spend your Sunday with old and new friends.

This special Melbourne Spoken Word Festival edition is designed and organised by four stellar emerging storytellers. Keen to run their own signature storytelling events in the near future, Achut, Aminata, Amarachi and Rhoda signed up for a six month Afrikan High Tea mentorship with Sista Zai.

Open mic sign-up: on the door.
